ED FELLA: PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDY
For this photography study, we were given the opportunity to explore San Diego so we could look for types that can only be found native to the area. Before we took pictures we explored Ed Fella's approach to typography where he had done something similar but with a Polaroid camera. For my approach, I drove and walked around areas near me, including Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, Allied Gardens, and Hillcrest. I mainly took a bunch of pictures of Graffiti because to me it’s something I see everywhere whether it's on abandoned buildings or even on people's fences. I also took pictures of business logos which were ones I found interesting and have been around ever since I was a kid in the early 2000s.
