Local MarketPlace App:
NeiMart
NeiMart is a collaborative local marketplace app designed to make buying and selling within nearby communities more approachable and organized. Created alongside Isaac Alzaga, the project focused on understanding how users navigate existing marketplace platforms and identifying opportunities to simplify discovery, communication, and listing management.
The app was developed through market research, user personas, information architecture, wireframing, usability testing, and visual design. These findings informed a mobile experience built around clear navigation, familiar marketplace patterns, and community-focused browsing.
Why NeiMart?
NeiMart began as a collaborative project between Isaac Alzaga and me. After deciding to develop a shopping app, we initially explored creating a marketplace specifically for secondhand PC components. Through discussion, we expanded the concept into a more accessible local marketplace that could appeal to a wider range of users.
Our goal was to create a platform for budget-conscious shoppers looking for affordable secondhand and discounted items. We focused on making local buying and selling more straightforward, with an emphasis on easy discovery, negotiation, and trustworthy transactions.

Visual Identity
NeiMart's visual identity combines expressive branding with a clean, functional interface. We used teal tones, consistent typography, and reusable UI elements to give the app a recognizable look. The final design also includes light and dark themes, offering different viewing experiences while maintaining the same layout and navigation.
