Brady Foundation:

Awareness Campaign

For this awareness campaign, I focused on the issue of gun violence and selected the Brady Foundation as the nonprofit organization behind the project. The goal was to create a poster that communicated the seriousness of gun violence while supporting Brady’s mission of preventing firearm-related deaths and creating lasting change.

I wanted the message to feel immediate and difficult to ignore. After exploring several concepts, I developed a typography-driven design built around the repeated word “VIOLENCE.” The repetition creates a sense of urgency, while the bold type and high-contrast purple palette allow the message to command attention from a distance.

Brady’s branding and contact information were incorporated at the bottom of the poster alongside the message “Creating Lasting Change, Saving Lives Together,” connecting the visual impact of the campaign back to the organization and its purpose.
