In Danger:

Board Game Concept

In Danger is a collaborative board game project centered around endangered wildlife and conservation. Created alongside Dante Rodriguez, Brenda Diaz, and Anthony Kelley, the game has players travel across different regions of the world, encountering challenges, advantages, and events as they work toward reaching the central sanctuary.

The project combines game design, illustration, and physical production with an exploration-inspired visual identity built around map imagery, compass motifs, and an earthy color palette. My contributions focused heavily on developing the gameplay system, board and card design, packaging, and production of the physical prototype, while working with the team on the overall concept and final game.

01

Game Board

A world-map layout guides players across different regions, using winding paths and a central compass to reinforce the game’s exploration theme.

02

Card System

Different card categories use distinct colors and imagery while maintaining a consistent layout and compass-based visual system.

03

Gameplay System

Players travel across the board toward a central sanctuary, encountering different spaces that affect their progress. Adaptation, Crisis, Event, and Milestone spaces introduce advantages, setbacks, random outcomes, and checkpoints throughout the game.
